2010 Virginia Trip - Letter
Dear lacrosse families,
This letter is to inform you of our plan to travel to Virginia again this spring with the Varsity lacrosse team.
We have enjoyed and benefited from the previous two adventures and can now offer this to all student athletes who make the 2010 team…and their families! Please understand that this trip is school approved, but funded by each family. The following details will help you plan.
Cost: This will depend on the number of boys that go on the trip. We travel by Niagara Scenic and will be staying at a Sleep Inn in Rockville, Maryland and then at a Hampton Inn in Dumfries, Virginia. We estimate $500.00 per boy which covers travel and accommodations, with breakfast included at the hotels. Other meals and incidentals will be at each individual’s expense (approximately $150.00).

In the past we have had as many as eight families drive separately, and join us. We welcome and encourage everyone and appreciate the extra help, but please realize Coach Tocin and I are responsible for all aspects of this trip. We pride ourselves in the safety and care of the team from start to finish. We do, as always, have very serious expectations regarding behavior and reserve the right to contact any parent with us or not, about violations of these expectations. The rooms will be secured after curfew and the boys are expected to remain until breakfast.
Ed Needham and Mark Chadderdon have coordinated this in the past, and are doing it again this year. I am extremely grateful for their help and I am sure they would welcome any assistance. We will be having our parent team meeting on Monday, March 15th at 7:00 pm in the Hamburg High School Library and this trip will be one of the items discussed.
Sincerely,
Jerry Severino
